Join Arts Alliance IL and the Cook County Small Business Source to discuss building a creative career or business beyond traditional models
When we think of careers in the arts, what comes to mind? Perhaps a gallery fine artist on exhibition, touring performer, set designer, film director, art teacher, or museum curator? While such roles are valuable, the landscape of careers for creatives extends far beyond these traditional bounds. At the same time, societal issues with technology, inequity, isolation, polarization, and mental health have grown increasingly important to address, shaping innovative career paths around solutions rooted in creative practice.
