Start your morning with a peaceful bird walk through the stunning 90-acre El Monte County Park! Join our park rangers as we identify local birds along the trail and stop by to meet the park’s animal ambassadors—hawks, owls, and even a kestrel.
📍 Meet at the dirt staging lot, which opens at 8 a.m. It’s just before the park entrance on the left side of the road—look for the big yellow gates and the El Monte Staging Lot sign. Rangers will be there to gather everyone before we use the crosswalk to enter the park ahead of the 9:30 a.m. gate opening. (Swipe for details).
