Come see real Astronomers from the San Diego Astronomy Association and look through their big, beautiful telescopes at Mother Nature's night light display. The evening starts off with a short, ranger-led, twilight hike in the preserve.
It may be too cold to see bats and scorpions, but it should be a great night for stargazing! The evening continues with stars and refreshments.
Come early to get a good parking spot and face your lights away from the telescopes so when you leave you won't blind them. Dress warmly and bring a flashlight.
Cloud cover or inclement weather may cancel. Call Ranger Kyle ahead for status or if you're lost: 858-699-8668.
